Explore eight Xinomavro wines from Greece and beyond at a tasting event brought to you by Pale Ruby Wine.
Xinomavro is one of Greece's most extraordinary grape varieties, known for its incredible versatility and complexity. Often likened to Nebbiolo, this noble grape from northern Greece can produce everything from powerful, age-worthy reds to bright, textured rosés, sparkling wines and still blanc de noirs styles. Its hallmark characteristics include high acidity, firm tannins, and flavours that can range from sun-dried tomatoes and olives to red fruits and spices.
