Our Story
Pale Ruby Wine was founded by Ipek Leni Candan. A WSET-certified wine professional with 14 years of experience as a senior PR and communications consultant in London, Leni seeks to unravel the story behind each bottle of wine, shining a spotlight on the artisans who craft them. Born and raised in Turkey’s Aegean wine region, she first discovered the transformative power of wine through her love of food and fine dining. She has a particular interest in the wines of Greece and Turkey.
Leni has studied WSET Level 3 in Wines at the WSET School London and completed an intensive winemaking course at Plumpton College, achieving a distinction in both. With a passion for curating memorable experiences that unite people, she brings a unique perspective to the world of wine. Leni is in the final stages of completing the WSET Diploma in Wines.
